A YuMmY Saturday Morning

Today me & the girlie's got up just a tad earlier than the Mr. & Ryder, and we had a very yummy, festive breakfast together!!!

There was much chatting as well, I love to hear all the little silly things that goes on between 2 sisters. Apparently Haylee had been looking up (during computer time at school) who made the nice list & who made the naughty list. Luckily we all made the nice list, Santa was a bit concerned though about how much TV Hopie was watching & he definitely thinks they need to eat more vegetables in place of junk food and I do believe he mentioned that they all need to use the words "Thank You" more often. Good advise, Santa!!!! Anyhoo, Hopie informed us all about her field trip to see Wallie, also that she has just discovered Payton & herself are the only 2 people in her class with the letter P in their names, smart girl;)!!!!!!

We had such a GrEaT time in Dallas!!!!

Everything was smooth sailing except the drive through Oklahoma, which was incredibly BORING & the shopping (or lack of shopping) was a little trying with 3 kiddies!!!

Our 1st stop, the nasty dirty McDonald's that goes over the Highway!!!

This is ALL the highways in Dallas, they are actually very pretty, with green stucco & stars everywhere!!!

2nd stop was to the hotel, where we met Chad, Alicia, Lilly, Marlan, Ashley, Gabbie & Gus!!

After we all got rested & restored, we headed to the Galleria Mall!!

We had a FUN night!!! We really really wanted to go ice-skating but by the time we finally made our way to the rink, they were set to close within 30 minutes. So Daddy had to promise the girls he would take them as soon as we got home & had time (no such thing as of yet)!!!

Day 2

We went shopping (again NO fun with kids), Hope accidentally broke something in Crate & Barrel (nothing big, just a $3.00 ornament) EMBARRASSING, went to Ikea (the kids LOVE playing in the play place), had lunch & then started to head for Palestine, TX to ride The Polar Express (the reason for the trip)!!!

Notice the tree's in the background!!! It still looks & feels like FALL there. The weather was absolutely perfect!!

He was so excited about his gift, so dad thought it was a good idea to let him play with it inside...... yeah, the balls where coming out so fast they almost knocked over our tree!!! Needless to say, they took it outside:)!!!!

Can I just say how much I LOVE my new Rachael Ray Cookware!?!?!?!!!!

I am plumb giddy that I get to prepare our Thanksgiving Feast with these babies!!!

Hope is pretty ExCiTed too, you know how she thinks she is Rachael Ray and all, LOL!!!

I am officially retiring my 11 year old T-Fal set, it has been great and served the Rapp Family well but I believe it's time to move on!!!

Our Thankful Tree

We are SO thankful for SO many things this year!!!! This was such a fun little project to do with the kiddos, I think we shall make it a family tradition to do each year at Thanksgiving time.

Ryder was thankful for~ The Golf Course (he has been all of 2 or 3 times), Basketball, Baseball, Football & Nascar. Typical boy!!! He already tore his off the tree!!!!

Hope was thankful for~ Sisters, Mom & Dad, Best Friends, Mrs. Youngblood and Jesus.

Haylee was thankful for~ God's Grace, Family, Love, Friends & Home.

We have MUCH to thank the Lord for this Thanksgiving!!!!
