CuPcAkEs, cUpCaKeS & MoRe CuPcAkEs

I arose early (well not really that early, 8ish) this morning to begin the huge enormous task of baking & decorating 250 cupcakes. I have all of them baked now & it is 3:30 so all I have left is the decorating part (the hard part). I am doing these for a wedding & the bride wanted 3 different flavors, vanilla, peanut butter & raspberry. The vanilla & peanut butter are oh so yummy and the raspberry are okay (but I'm not a raspberry fan). I hope that she LOVES them.

So, I am trying to get ready for a 10k run that I am going to do in Oct. with a couple of friends and OH MY, I am soooooo sore. I have jogged at least 1 mile every day this week. Yesterday I walked 4 miles & then rode my bike about 3 miles last night. We took the whole gang on the bike ride, which was quite a challenge and probably very comical for our neighbors. Both girls rode their own bikes (and they actually done really well) & J pulled Ryder in the trailer (he had a rather difficult time staying in the thing). I'm sure we looked like the Brady bunch, a very loud Brady bunch, lol. Anyhoo, today my hiney is so sore that I can barely sit but I will persevere. I am so excited to do this plus I really want to lose 20 pds by Dec.!!!!

No pics of the bike's or anything related to this post so here are the girls today before school!!! Don't mind Hope's face (in the pic with Hay) she was not wanting to go to school this morning because it was storming just a tad.

NO GIRLS

Well.... the girls started school Monday. Hopie started Kindergarten this year & Hay started the 3rd grade, YIKES. I was really really nervous that Hope was NOT going to like, but SUPRISE she LOVES it!!!! Hope has an AwEsOmE teacher, Mrs. Youngblood who I absolutely love. Haylee had her in the 1st grade & Haylee has Mrs. Poland and she seems very nice.

Hope & I went to her K-orientation last Thursday evening & on the way home we were just chatting and she told me that she thought music would be her favorite thing. She wanted to know if she would get a microphone to sing in or if she would just have to sing really loudly, lol!!!

So, We are really excited about this school year & what it will bring!!!!
